2010 – Leonard Cheshire

Leonard Cheshire is a national company who offer help and support for disabled people. This support includes care homes, supported living, domiciliary support, day services, resource centres, rehabilitation, respite care, personal support and training and assistance for those looking for work.

The Loughborough raised over  £5,500 for Leonard Cheshire through dress down days, quiz nights and treasure hunts. In addition to this our branch manager Fiona Wilkinson raised £1,200 by taking part in a Hadrian’s Wall Walk. Felicity Newbold also took part in a tandem sky dive and raised £700.

2009 – Shuttlewood Clarke

Shuttlewood Clarke’s mission is to ease loneliness and suffering and to offer comfort and support to the elderly and adults of all ages with disabilities, throughout the Leicestershire area.

The Loughborough raised over £5,000 for Shuttlewood Clarke through staff efforts and member donations.

2008 – Air Ambulance Derbyshire, Leicestershire & Rutland

The Loughborough Building Society joined with The Loughborough Echo in 2008 and raised over £18,000 for Air Ambulance – Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Rutland through activities and help from both companies staff member and also member donations
