Branch Christmas Charity Raffles and Food Donations
Wednesday 5th January 2022
Our branch teams arranged festive raffles and food donation boxes to help local charities and communities over Christmas and the cold winter months.
Our Loughborough team raised a fantastic £171.00 from their Christmas hamper raffle with proceeds going to local charity and community centre, John Storer House.
Our Derby team raised an amazing £118.00 from their raffle, with the money raised going to the Padley Centre a charity that delivers services to people with complex needs.
The branch also had a food donation box, where members could donate vital food supplies that will help the Padley Centre feed those who need it most.
Proceeds from Long Eaton’s Christmas raffle went to Hope – Long Eaton, a charitable organisation that reaches out to those in need in the local area.
Long Eaton also organised a food collection, putting a shopping trolley in the main banking hall where both members and staff could donate food and other vital supplies.
A big thank you to our branch teams for organising these collections and to our members who bought raffle tickets or donated food.
