We’re pleased to share that Loughborough Building Society is continuing its support for Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People throughout 2026.
Rainbows is the East Midlands’ only hospice dedicated to babies, children and young people with life‑limiting or life‑threatening conditions. Its mission is to brighten short lives, support children to reach their full potential, relieve symptoms, create precious memories for families, and provide comfort and compassion during the most difficult times.
Maintaining our support at our 2026 AGM
At our Annual General Meeting on 23 February 2026, members once again helped make a meaningful difference. Thanks to every vote cast, members raised over £1,100 for Rainbows Hospice.
The Society was pleased to round this up to a total donation of £1,500, supporting the care Rainbows provides across the East Midlands.
On 12 March 2026, Lisa Burns‑Kent, Head of Marketing and Business Development, and Dale Houlden, Marketing Executive, from The Loughborough Building Society, presented a cheque to Hannah Meisuria, Corporate Partnership Fundraiser at Rainbows. The donation was warmly received and will help support their work in Loughborough and the surrounding community.

Why Rainbows Matters
Rainbows supports hundreds of families every year, providing expert palliative and end‑of‑life care, therapies, emotional support, symptom management and respite — at the hospice, at home and in hospitals. Their work helps families make the most of every precious moment together.
Continuing a Valued Partnership
The Society is proud to maintain its long‑standing relationship with Rainbows Hospice throughout 2026. Our continued support helps Rainbows deliver essential care for children, young people and families across the East Midlands.
