Full-time Risk Manager – Head Office, Loughborough.
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a conscientious and proactive individual to join our Risk & Compliance Team.
The role will encompass risk management, involvement in business initiatives, and preparation and monitoring of MI. This will include preparation and delivery of risk reports to management and Board committees. You will work closely with colleagues across the business including Operations, Finance, and IT.
Ideally applicants will have experience of working within the retail financial services sector within either a risk, audit or finance/treasury role. You will have an understanding of the risks affecting retail financial sector organisations (including treasury, credit, operational, IT, and conduct risks) and an ability to understand processes, identify and evaluate risks and controls.
Applicants will need to be numerate and have strong analytical skills. The ability to work both independently and collaboratively is important, as are strong task management skills. Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal are essential.
The salary offered will be competitive, dependant on skills, qualifications and experience.
