Macmillan Coffee Morning

On 29th September, The Loughborough Building Society hosted its second Macmillan Coffee Morning. The event welcomed colleagues from our Loughborough Head Office to enjoy a selection of hot drinks and a variety of yummy treats — both sweet and savoury — all in support of a great cause.

Our branches also joined in the fun, offering cakes for sale. Our Derby branch even had a selection of second-hand books available for customers to purchase.

Macmillan Coffee Mornings are a vital fundraising initiative that help Macmillan Cancer Support provide practical, emotional, and financial assistance to people living with cancer. Every pound raised contributes to services such as specialist nurses, support lines, and community care, ensuring that no one faces cancer alone.

We’re delighted to share that the Society raised a total of £339.00, surpassing our original target of £250.
